WWE Elimination Chamber 2015 Predictions

Elimination Chamber Predictions
It seemed like it was just yesterday that these men were on NXT main eventing for the title. While this is a typical undercard match, it will get the crowd warmed up. Unless they open the show with one of the chamber matches, I expect this to open the show. In the end, Neville will prevail. The only way I see Bo Dallas winning is if rumors of him joining the Wyatt Family are true because then this would be the perfect match for it.
Winner: Neville

Elimination Tag Team Match for WWE Tag Team Championship
This match will be very interesting. Personally I would rather see a War Games format with the Tag Team titles and not as many teams, but this will do. The New Day have surprised me and manage to hold on to the titles longer than expected. I expect them to hold win this in dramatic form.
Winner: The New Day
Nikki Bella (c) vs. Paige vs. Naomi
Triple Threat Match for WWE Divas Championship
This is the match I am most looking forward to outside of the main event. It is no secret that I have been critical of Naomi. I wanted her to take that extra step and show us her she is. I am now convinced that she is ready to be WWE Divas Champion. History tells us that who ever takes the last fall before the pay-per-view goes over. With Naomi losing clean to Paige, I'd like to think she wins, but I would not be surprised if she doesn't. But going on record, I am going to pick Naomi. This will be her night.
Winner: Naomi
Sheamus vs. Ryback vs. R-Truth vs. King Barrett vs. Rusev vs. Dolph Ziggler
Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
This match is the reason we have the night in the first place. I would not be surprised if this was the Main Event. Looking at this match, I only see one winner, Sheamus. Since his return, he has been ripping apart everyone in the division. Rusev and Dolph Ziggler have problems with each other and that could distract them from the ultimate prize. In the end, there will be Brough Kicks for everyone.
Winner: Sheamus
It seemed like it was just yesterday that John Cena was chasing the WWE Championship at the same time Kevin Steen was in Ring of Honor chasing the ROH Championship. Many said, he would never make in the WWE. Now Kevin Owens is NXT Champion. After watching rival Sami Zayn get praise from Cena for having heart in the U.S. Championship open challenge, Owens did not agree. He made sure Cena was aware of who he was. This match promises to be a fight. While Owens has dominated NXT, he has never matched up against Cena. He has gotten his way with him and showed his dominance, but now Cena is used to the bright lights and he will come out victorious.
Winner: Kevin Owens

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
This is the match many have been waiting for. Dean Ambrose has yet to forgive Seth Rollins for breaking up The Shield. Ambrose promised that he would prevent Rollins from cashing in his Money In the Bank contract. But Rollins cashed in during the main event of WrestleMania, a time when Ambrose was healing from his hellacious ladder match. Now Ambrose has a one-on-one opportunity with Rollins for all the gold. However, he will have to keep in mind that the Authority will always be lurking. Ambrose will win, but he will not win the title.
Winner: Dean Ambrose by Disqualification, Seth Rollins will remain Champion

WWE NXT Takeover Unstoppable Predictions

NXT Takeover Unstoppable Predictions
NXT Takeover Unstoppable promises to be another classic. Here are my predictions for the winners of this extravaganza.

Bayley & Charlotte vs. Dana Brooke & Emma
This women tag team match should be a classic. If you have not noticed, women's wrestling in NXT matters just as much as the men's. I m prediction that Emma and Dana Brooke will pull of the upset. Brooke is the future of the women in WWE, she will have the most crossover appeal as we move forward. This match gives her an opportunity to work with Charlotte and Bayley, two who are NXT legends in the making. Brooke will earn the victory over Bayley.
Winner Dana Brooke & Emma.
Baron Corbin vs. Rhyno
Rhyno, an ECW legend, has returned to the WWE family so that he can wrestle the best competition on a bigger stage. NXT gives him that opportunity without working on the road as much. Baron Corbin is the next monster in line. A victory over Rhyno would solidify him early in his career.
Winner: Baron Corbin
Blake & Murphy (c) vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady for the NXT Tag Team Championship
Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady have the most charisma in the NXT tag team division.  Blake and Murphy have been a solid tag team, but I think they lose this match. Amore and Cassady are really hot right now. I do not think this will be the last of these two, this could elevate to be a great tag team rivalry throughout the summer.
Winner: Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady
Tyler Breeze vs. Finn B├ílor vs. Hideo Itami to determine the #1 contender for the NXT Championship
Rumors are Hideo Itami has been injured and will not compete in this matchup. That leaves us with Tyler Breeze vs. Finn Balor. Balor is a WWE main eventer waiting to happen.  Tyler Breeze is good, but he reminds a lot of people of Dolph Ziggler. He is a workhorse and this will be a good match. But when it comes to the NXT Championship, Balor is the guy, and therefore he will emerge victorious.
Winner: Finn Balor
Sasha Banks (c) vs. Becky Lynch for the  NXT Women's Championship
This match could steal the show. Since she has become NXT's Women's Champion, Sasha Banks has showed everyone that she is money! Becky Lynch could easily get lost in the shuffle of the women's division but she has not. She has proved that she belongs in this match. In the end, Banks will cash in and show everyone why she is #BOSS.
Winner: Sasha Banks
Kevin Owens (c) vs. Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship
If you are a wrestling fan beyond WWE, you know about the rivalry of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. If you did not, Triple H and company has done a great job of catching you up. This match could go either way. Owens has an opportunity of a life time when he faces John Cena at Elimination Chamber. If he is more focused on Cena, he could lose his NXT Championship. But if he comes out and continues his dominance, there is no way he loses this match.
Winner: Kevin Owens

Lana is Dolph Ziggler's Last Hope

Dolph Ziggler now with Lana
He always talks about stealing shows, he always sells and makes his opponent look good, and in his opinion, he is the best wrestler in the company, but truth be told, Dolph Ziggler has never reached main event status without a female valet. The two time World Heavyweight Champion was accompanied by Vickie Guerrero and A.J. Lee during both of his title reigns. But since his departure, he has been back to the mid-card. Recently,  Lana joined Ziggler and once again he will have a female by his side, so where does Dolph go from here?

After being the sole-survivor at last year's Survivor Series, fans believed that maybe Dolph Ziggler would finally break through the glass ceiling. Unfortunately for him, he was just an Intercontinental Champion. Sure he had great matches with Luke Harper, but when Bad News Barrett returned, back to down the ladder goes Ziggler.  When you look at Dolph Ziggler, the wrestling has always been there. You may even say the move set has evolved, but his character is a different story.
Dolph Ziggler is a wrestler who the male demographic of 18-35 loves him. He reminds many of B.A. Billy Gunn and Mr. Perfect. But fans are entertained by his wrestling. When he is not on the show, typically, they do not miss him. Ziggler has not found a way to connect with the audience. For Daniel Bryan, he was the underdog who did everything right but was constantly being overlooked. Even when his friends and co-workers were pushing for him, he was still being held back. John Cena is the superhero who the woman and children look up to. But what is Dolph Ziggler? How does one connect with him? Ziggler constantly speaks about being frustrated, but its not like the fans are frustrated that he's held back. You have never seen fans literally hijack a crowd over Dolph Ziggler.
So now here is Lana. The WWE Universe have gone from constantly booing her when she comes out, to loving her. She could possibly be this generation's Sable. One who generates a pop just by simply coming out to the ring and waving to the audience. There are some speculations that Lana will start wrestling soon, but in a stacked division, I have no interest in seeing her wrestle. However, now that she is with Ziggler, I would like to see her let her hair down. This will show us a different Lana cosmetically than the person she was with Rusev
The pairing of Dolph Ziggler and Lana can be great for the two of them. Ziggler can get over more than he has ever been and Lana can go next level, being the woman they every man wants to see. But this can also backfire for Dolph Ziggler. He could be another victim of a gimmick failing, but the valet going over.  The clock is ticking for him. With Seth Rollins being the guy right now and Dean Ambrose looking to be the next big fan favorite, Ziggler may find himself being in the same position Mr. Perfect was in 1993. The question remains, will Dolph Ziggler be the Macho Man, or will he be Marc Mero. (Read the Gimmick article to for further explanation.)

P.S. On the Wrestling Summit Payback Post show, I mentioned Glen's original statement, "give Dolph Ziggler a female manager." I'll just leave that there.

WWE Payback 2015 Predictions

Mega Powers have come back! Watcha Gonna do when Axelmania and Damien Mandow runs runs wild on you. I am not a fan of the Ascension. They are boring, and always try for cheap heat. Where's the creativity? Sandow and Axel are good workers who have found ways to entertain the crowd by paying homage to legends. The Mega Powers 2.0 will win this one.
Winner: Damien Sandow and Curtis Axel
Since his return, Sheamus has been on a mean streak. At Extreme Rules he lost to Dolph Ziggler in a Kiss My Arse match, but it was Ziggler who was humiliated. Sheamus will find a way at Payback to earn a win over Ziggler.
Winner: Sheamus
This match has the potential to steal the show. King Barrett won the King of the Ring by defeating Neville in the finals. Prior to the King of the Ring, Neville defeat Barrett on the preshow at Extreme Rules. In the rubber match, Barrett will prove why he is King.
Winner: King Barrett
John Cena (c)vs. Rusev
John Cena and Rusev will show down for the very last time. What better way to end this feud than in an "I Quit Match." This will be brutal, but we know John Cena never gives up. No way he loses this atch
Winner: John Cena
When The New Day was put together, no one liked them. They attempted to be faces, but no one bought into it. What better way to keep everyone against them then turning them heel. On the other hand, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd have been becoming one of the better tag teams we have seen in recent memory. Kidd and Cesaro will continue to make their names in tag team wrestling with a win here.
Winner: Tyson Kidd and Cesaro
Ryback has been letting the WWE Universe know more about his personal struggles. However, Bray Wyatt could care less. Wyatt will do whatever it takes to win, and he could care less how big or how strong Ryback is. There is no way Ryback will be able to keep up with Bray Wyatt Psychologically.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
Fatal 4-Way match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship; If Rollins fails to retain the Championship, Kane will be fired from being Director of Operations.
WWE World Title Match
This match was already going be good with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Randy Orton, but adding Dean Ambrose in this match will make it epic. Ambrose has the most to gain in this match. This is his first main even title match and if he goes out there and steals the show, he will solidify himself in the main event. The stipulation to this match is, Kane will be fired if Rollins does not walk away with the title. While Rollins does not like Kane, he loves his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. In the end, Rollins will walk away champion.
Winner: Seth Rollins

TNA, Give Matt Hardy the Ball

TNA Give Matt Hardy the Ball
Matt Hardy is a main eventer waiting to happen!” These are words, former WWEChampion, JBL used to say every week on Smackdown. Unfortunately Matt Hardy never got his chance to be a World Champion in the WWE. His tag team work with his brother Jeff, will easily have him in their hall of fame. But Hardy is no where near slowing down, in fact many could say he is better than ever right now. He and his brother Jeff won the vacated TNA Tag Team Championship. However, due to Jeff breaking his leg, they were forced to vacate the titles. So what’s next for Matt?
When Matt Hardy announced that they would be vacating the belts, he admitted that Jeff always does what he wants to do and there are times where he would suffer. He continued by saying that he was leaving until he figured out what was next for him. Now when you watch the promo, you realize that there is some sort of resentment there. Kayfabe or not, now is the time to pull the trigger on Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy is world championship material.
On the Mother’s Day episode of The Wrestling Summit, we discussed the possibility of Hardy being a TNA Champion. One thing Glenwood Thomas pointed out that would be key is social media. Matt Hardy was the first wrestler to embrace social media, and even to this day, he continues to do. With this guy being world champion, it would be fresh. TNA could capitalize on that feel good moment wrestlers have when they win their first world major title. Hardy is also a global superstar. He has become the modern dayJerry “the King” Lawler, winning titles in independent promotions all over the country. Matt Hardy is a drawing card for any promotion. When fans see him on the flyer, they pay their money. This is the draw that TNA needs. If TNA wants to make real money, they would pull the trigger on Matt Hardy, put him in a program and he would be their world champion. And when Jeff comes back, have these two in the main event. “Fans have yet to see Matt Hardy as a world champion on TV, and you can never go wrong with a Matt and Jeff Hardy feud.” – The Real Dwayne Allen

Naomi and Tamina: Family Over Everything

Naomi and Tamina Family over Everything
Finally I can see the wheels moving! Naomi is about turn the corner and become the main event diva that I had hoped for. A couple of weeks ago, I wrote and asking the question, Is there money in Naomi?, but based on recent events, I can see Naomi becoming more than just athleticism. After writing this I received a lot of backlash on twitter...where I can be found @MrMainEventBDuB because many felt that I did not like Naomi. Thats far from the truth, while Cameron is my favorite, Naomi is one I feel has the full package inside in the ring, but outside there is something lacking.  On the May 4th edition of Monday Night Raw, the Bella Twins were attacked by Naomi and her cousin by marriage Tamina Snuka

Who saw this coming? I thought that Cameron would join her to help with the Bellas and after she said tried to take credit for Naomi's success and reminded the Bellas that they were not better than her, I thought perhaps this could be a possibility. But putting Naomi with Tamina is money. Now when she has a true bodyguard on the outside to protect her so she can handle business inside the ring. When Tamina was with A.J. Lee, she was what Diesel was to Shawn Michaels. Because of this, you have to give her some credit for A.J's historic title reign. Naomi made it clear, no has your back the way family does and while Brie has been right by Nikki's side to ensure she holds on to the Divas Championship, there is no way she is a match for Tamina. While Naomi's new attitude is still developing, with a bodyguard by her side, it would only be a manner of time before she is the new Divas Champ!
