2017 NFL Season Week 4 Predictions (Current Record 29-18)

Last week, I was off! I finished the 7-9, so I am looking to bounce back this week. The game that surprised me the most was the Ravens getting molly whopped by the Jaguars in London after an embarrassing performance. Now they must bounce back against the rival Pittsburgh Steelers, the same team that ended their playoff hopes last year on Christmas Day. Here are my picks for this week.

Bears vs Packers Packers
Rams vs Cowboys Cowboys
Steelers vs Ravens Steelers
Saints vs Dolphins Dolphins
Bills vs Falcons Falcons
Bengals vs Browns Bengals
Lions vs Vikings Lions
Panthers vs Patriots Panthers
Titans vs Texans Texans
49ers vs Cardinals Cardinals
Eagles vs Chargers Chargers
Giants vs Buccaneers Buccaneers
*Raiders vs Broncos Raiders
Colts vs Seahawks Seahawks
Redskins vs Chiefs Redskins

This is rivalry week in the NFL. Bears-Packers, Steelers-Ravens, Titans-Texans, 49ers-Cardinals, and Raiders-Broncos. The Raiders vs Broncos will be the game to look forward to. Both teams are coming off disappointing losses. The Broncos have a championship defense, while the Raiders are looking to be the team to threaten the defending champion Patriots this year. In order to do that, they will need a big win this week on the road.

2017 NFL Season Week 3 Predictions (Current Record 22-9 )

Week 2 Notes
Last week we saw the New England Patriots led by Tom Brady bounced back with a vengeance in their 36-20 win over the Saints. Ezekiel Elliot had the WORST game of his life, rushing for only 8 yards on 9 attempts. The Ravens defense brought their season total of turnovers with 10 in their win over the Browns.

Rams vs 49ers Rams
Ravens vs Jaguars Ravens
Dolphins vs Jets Dolphins
*Texans vs Patriots Patriots
Falcons vs Lions Falcons
Steelers vs Bears Steelers
Giants vs Eagles Giants
Buccaneers vs Vikings Buccaneers
Broncos vs Bills Broncos
Browns vs Colts Colts
Saints vs Panthers Panthers
Seahawks vs Titans Titans
Bengals vs Packers Packers
Chiefs vs Chargers Chiefs
Raiders vs Redskins Raiders
Cowboys vs Cardinals Cowboys

Game of the Week
The Texans are 2-0 and playing the 1-1 Patriots. The Patriots struggled with the Chiefs defense in week 1 and could see some of the same stuggles in Week 3 when they face JJ Watt. However, The Texans are sending a rookie quarterback to Foxboro. This will give the Patriots the edge.

Jay-Z says NO to Super Bowl 52

The Super Bowl is the biggest stage in American sports. To get an invite to perform there is every artist's dream. Well, maybe not every artist. Jay-Z has reportedly turned down the opportunity to perform at Super Bowl.

Recently Jay-Z proved that he supports Colin Kaepernick by dedicating a song to him. It's not safe to say that this is the reason that he is not performing, but it would not be a surprise. He is the same guy who asked, why wouldn't he support LaVar Ball and told his community to focus more on bettering their credit than throwing ones in the strip club.

Another Part of my Childhood gone as Bobby "The Brain" Heenan Dies

If you know me, you will know that I am a huge wrestling fan. I am one of the few fans who did not really get into comic books. Wrestling was my comic book. My superheroes growing up were Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, and the Ulitmate Warrior. Like every superhero, there was a villain. Their villain was simply Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.

Bobby Heenan had a way of making you hate him. As a child, I couldn't stand to see him on my television. He spoke against all of my favorite wrestlers and was always the guy getting in the way of their matches. I could not wait for someone destroy that weasel.

As I got older and understood the business of professional wrestling, I appreciated Bobby The Brain. He did whatever it took to draw heat on his guys, and even more to make the babyface look like a star. Today's kids see the likes of Paul Heyman, but before there was Heyman, there was Bobby The Brain. When I read his book, I learned so much about how he and Hulk Hogan were actually friends and how much time they spent traveling together. If you haven't read it, I recommend that you do. Check out the video for below to relive some of the greatest memories from Bobby "the Brain" Heenan.

2017 NFL Season Week 2 Predictions (Current Record 9-6 )

Week 1 Notes
The week kicked off with the defending champions, New England Patriots falling to the Kansas City Chiefs. While there are many questions about the Patriots defense, this is not a time for haters to get excited about their demise. The Baltimore Ravens opened a lot of eyes with a shut out on the road against division foe Cincinnati Bengals. The Ravens defense is back! The Dallas Cowboys went into Week 1 with a lot of questions and came out doing something they couldn't do at all in 2016, beat the New York Giants.

Week 2 Predictions
Texans vs Bengals  Bengals
Browns vs Ravens  Ravens
Bills vs Panthers  Panthers
Cardinals vs Colts Cardinals
Titans vs Jaguars Titans
Eagles vs Chiefs Chiefs
Patriots vs Saints Patriots
Vikings vs Steelers Vikings
Bears vs Buccaneers Buccaneers
Dolphins vs Chargers  Dolphins
Jets vs Raiders Raiders
Cowboys vs Broncos Cowboys
Redskins vs Rams Redskins
49ers vs Seahawks Seahawks
*Packers vs Falcons Falcons
Lions vs Giants Lions

The game of the week will be a rematch of last seasons NFC Championship Game between the Falcons and the Packers. The Falcons will be primed and ready as they open up their brand new stadium. Both Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan had a great start to the season with each of them throwing over 300 yards in a win. While the Packers will looking to gain revenge, it will be hard to see the Falcons lay an egg in their new house.

Ezekiel Elliott Leaps Over NFL Suspension

Every Dallas Cowboys hater came at my throat when I said Tom Brady got suspended and returned and won the Super Bowl and that Ezekiel Elliott would do the same thing. Guess what, he won't even have to serve a suspension. Zeke has been granted a preliminary injunction which puts his suspension on hold. The cowboys won 13 games last season and if it was not for the fact that the Cowboys had a rookie quarterback who was just as responsible for the team's success then Zeke would have been rookie of the year. Now being motivated combined with a lot of talent,  Zeke will have an even better year. Cowboys road to Super Bowl 52 has gotten better.

2017 NFL Season Predictions

Football is back. Every team is 0-0. What they did last year DOES NOT MATTER. So here are my predictions for the season.

AFC

East

There is no reason to choose another team besides the Patriots
Patriots
Bills
Dolphins
Jets

North

The picture has not changed much from the AFC North. It is still the Steelers division to win. Their hire powered offense will make a bigger case for Ben Roethlisberger to get a gold jacket.

Steelers
*Ravens
Bengals
Browns

South

There is a new era in the NFC South. It is time for the Marcus Mariota era to begin. In a division that was supposed to belong to Andrew Luck for at least a decade, the Titans are the team that looks to be the most complete.

Titans
Texans
Jaguars
Colts

West

The Raiders was very close to winning the division a year ago, but after David Carr got injured late in the season, all hopes derailed. Carr is back with a vengeance and now he has the hometown hero returning from retirement, Marshawn Lynch.

Raiders
*Chiefs
Broncos
Chargers

NFC

East

No one believed that the Dallas Cowboys would win their division last season when Tony Romo went down. Rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott breathed new life into Cowboys Nation when they led dem boys to a 13-3 record. While Elliott is facing a 6-game suspension, they will still have their quarterback who wants to win.

Cowboys
Eagles
Giants
Redskins

North

Aaron Rodgers finds ways to win once it gets cold. Luckily for him, there are more cold games in Green Bay than warm games. No one else in the division will compete with the Packers.

Packers
Vikings
Lions
Bears

South

The NFC South has been notorious for trading division champions. The Panthers became the first team to win it consecutively since the expansion in 2002 when they won 2013-2015. That streak ended last season when the eventual NFC champions, Atlanta Falcons won it. But we know how that goes when a team loses the Super Bowl. This leaves it up for grabs for the up and coming Buccaneers.

Buccaneers
*Panthers
Falcons
Saints

West

The Seahawks would be considered a dynasty if they would have run the ball in Super Bowl 49. However, they still continue to dominate on defense. The Cardinals will be back, but look for the Seahawks to edge them out for the division crown.

Seahawks
* Cardinals
Rams
49ers

Super Bowl Predictions
Dallas Cowboys vs Oakland Raiders

2017 NFL Season Week 1 Predictions

Finally, the NFL season is here. I took a year off, but I am BACK with my weekly predictions.

This week's game of the week is the Cowboys and the Giants. Last year the Giants beat the Cowboys twice in a nail biter. This is the only team that rookie quarterback Dak Prescott played that he could not beat when he lead his team to the first overall seed with a record of 13-3. He will look to redeem himself in week 1. Another storyline, Ezekiel Elliott. Zeke will serve a six game suspension this season after his off the field antics. Due to the fact that his first appeal was not decided upon until Tuesday evening, he is eligible for week 1.

Chiefs vs Patriots. Patriots

Jets vs Bills. Bills

Ravens vs Bengals. Ravens

Cardinals vs Lions. Cardinals

Jaguars vs Texans. Texans

Falcons vs Bears. Falcons

Steelers vs Browns. Steelers

Raiders vs Titans. Raiders

Eagles vs Redskins. Eagles

Colts vs Rams. Rams

Panthers vs 49ers. Panthers

Seahawks vs Packers. Seahawks

*Giants vs Cowboys. Cowboys

Saints vs. Vikings. Saints

Chargers vs. Broncos. Chargers.

My Kobe Challenges for the WWE Roster

On Mamba Day (August 24th), Kobe Bryant issued a challenge to a handful of athletes and musicians. Bleacher Report recently issued Kobe challenges to a player for every NBA team. As we now enter the time frame in which the WWE competes with the NFL, there are times where the product seems lackluster to the casual fans. I am challenging various superstars to go beyond that and be better. Now before you get upset, remember, it's just for fun.

Vince McMahon
Challenge: Give us a 100% African-American WWE Champion.

Now I am not one of the people that do not recognize The Rock as African-American. But let's be real, he is mixed with Samoan. There was Mark Henry, Junkyard Dog, and Booker T who had the potential to hold the strap, but there were white counterparts who were super over during their time. But now it is time for us to have a champion. Is this guy in the WWE family? I don't know, I don't get paid to discover talent, but we have seen Vince create iconic characters such as Goldust and the Undertaker. He has another left in him.

Triple H
Challenge: Give us one more epic battle with The Rock at WrestleMania

You and The Rock had some of the greatest matches in the early 2000s. Matches this generation would love to see. WrestleMania is the one place where you two never had a one-on-one match. New Orleans would be the perfect place for you two to have your last encounter.

Brock Lesnar
Challenge: Give us two Raws per month

You are money. When you show up to Raw, everyone tunes in. With Goldberg winning the WWE Universal Title in February and then you beating him at WrestleMania, we have almost forgotten what the title looked like. If you show up to Raw with the title more, we would see the WWE destroying the NFL in the ratings.

Roman Reigns
Challenge: Embrace your heel persona

You know how fans feel about you. We know it gets to you. You literally have your cousin's story all over again. While you may not have the natural charisma that he does, you do have the ability to make people hate you. They already do. So go with it. Destroy John Cena on the mic and his fans as well.

AJ Styles
Challenge: Bring Smackdown's ratings past Raw

While Jinder Mahal is the WWE Champion, you are the most important champion. We need to see you in more segments and more shows outside of wrestling. You have thrived in the WWE world. Now it is your time to set records for Smackdown's ratings.

Seth Rollins
Challenge: Be the Megastar you were primed to become

When you won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, you went on a run that made me call you the next megastar in WWE. You were on your way to being on the level of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Since your return from injury, you have not been the same architect. Get back to that.

Finn Balor
Challenge: Win some WWE gold again.

You will go down in history as the first WWE Universal Champion. No one will ever take that away from you. If you do not plan to challenge Lesnar right now, go challenge for the Intercontinental Championship. Your work rate is amazing and you should be on that list of great champions.

Kevin Owens
Challenge: Win the WWE Championship

You can go down as the first person in history to ever win the WWE Universal Championship and then the WWE Championship. With you leading the Smackdown brand, fans will tune in. You never stop running your mouth and doing that on Tuesday nights will take the brand through the roof.

Jason Jordan
Challenge: Make your dad pay

Your dad was missing from your life for years. He owes you and owes you big. Make him award you title shots on demand. Use him to reach the mountain top. Become a singles champion in the WWE.

Shinsuke Nakamura
Challenge: Become the First Japanese WWE Champion

You ooze in charisma. Do what you did in NXT win the big one.

Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish
Challenge: Takeover NXT and destroy everything moving

The same way Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Hollywood Hulk Hogan destroyed WCW, you three should do the same with NXT. Make us wondering if things were a work or a shoot. Blur the lines. Once you finished there, come up to the main roster and do the same thing.

More challenges to come. Meanwhile, let me know what your challenges are to the WWE Superstars

Do You Still Hate Tariq?

With his sister gone, his twin sister, he can never be the same. He was tired of everyone lying to him so he made the mistake of turning to the streets. Tariq learned quickly that he was not about that life. However, his past sins caught up with him, costing his twin sister Raina her life. Tariq became the most hated child in television history. But before season 4 ended, he made sure he avenged his daughter's killer. Considering he did the right thing, do you still hate him?

Tariq made it very easy to hate him. Setting up people to get killed, robbing people, pushing his sister down, lying to his parents, lying to his sister, the list goes on and on. With him doing all of these things, we saw the Internet crying for someone to kill Tariq. Personally, I never wanted to see the kid die, I just wanted to see him get an old fashioned but whupping from his parents. Clearly he will never be the same. He is now a killer. Hopefully he has learned his lesson and will go to the private school that his sister wanted to, but it will be hard to imagine him being a scholar now.

The Brothers Are Back

At one point, all three of these guys have tried to kill each other but after carefully thinking, failing to pull the trigger, or even thinking one was dead later to find out it wasn't true, the three most powerful men from Queens are still around. Ghost, Tommy and Kanan have once again reunited.

When Ghost and Tommy was coming up in the streets, Kanan mentored them. However, after he would not go with the bigger plan, Ghost decided it was best to set him and send him to jail rather than kill him. Now if you been following you know the story on how their battle in the warehouse panned out. But now, they have a bigger problem, Dre.

Dre was Ghost protege. Everything Ghost was to Kanan, Dre was to Ghost. When Ghost was in jail, it was Tommy and Dre running things. But Dre got greedy for power and his desire became to be the biggest got darn drug dealer. In order to do that, he began lying to Tommy and Ghost about Kanan's whereabouts while lying to Kanan about everything else. With all that, the worse thing that could possibly happen did, the death of Ghost's daughter Raina. It was Dre who was in cahoots with Ray-Ray, the man who killed Raina. Now that Ray-Ray is gone, the trio have shifted their attention to Dre. After all, he is trying to cut off their money. With his life hanging in the balance, how long do you believe he will last in season 5?
