If you know me, you will know that I am a huge wrestling fan. I am one of the few fans who did not really get into comic books. Wrestling was my comic book. My superheroes growing up were Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, and the Ulitmate Warrior. Like every superhero, there was a villain. Their villain was simply Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Bobby Heenan had a way of making you hate him. As a child, I couldn't stand to see him on my television. He spoke against all of my favorite wrestlers and was always the guy getting in the way of their matches. I could not wait for someone destroy that weasel.
As I got older and understood the business of professional wrestling, I appreciated Bobby The Brain. He did whatever it took to draw heat on his guys, and even more to make the babyface look like a star. Today's kids see the likes of Paul Heyman, but before there was Heyman, there was Bobby The Brain. When I read his book, I learned so much about how he and Hulk Hogan were actually friends and how much time they spent traveling together. If you haven't read it, I recommend that you do. Check out the video for below to relive some of the greatest memories from Bobby "the Brain" Heenan.
