Ronda Rousey, Does She Have Heat, or is it a Work?


One of UFC's biggest star Ronda Rousey joined the WWE a full-time superstar. She made her debut after Asuka won the first-ever women's Royal Rumble. While the city of Philadelphia was excited to see her make her anticipated debut, the internet was not too happy about this. But who cares about them, what we care about is what the superstars think. Former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella took to Twitter to express how she feels about Rousey's debut. Not only did Nikki go to Twitter, but so did Dana Brooke and Hall of Famer, Madusa aka Alundra Blayze. Is this real?





If It Is Heat...

You cannot blame the ladies for being upset. They are on the road every week and prepared for this moment, only to see a newcomer take it away. No one is talking about Asuka winning, no one is talking about the legends and Hall of Famers who returned, instead they are talking about someone who lost two fights in a row, refused to talk about it and now has invaded their world. But, looking at the bigger picture, everyone is talking about WWE's women's division. This is an opportunity for everyone to step their game and win over some of the new fans.

If It Is A Work

This would be a great build up to a feud between Rousey and Nikki. We know Brooke is a member of Titus Worldwide, but we could easily see her jobbing out to Rousey in Rousey's first match. There are rumors that are saying that Rousey will team with The Rock to face Stephanie McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania, but if those are false, a match with Nikki Bella could work as well. This would also give us the money match of Charlotte vs Asuka at WrestleMania.

I honestly believe this is a work, but if it is not, I do not think there will be any consequences for those tweets. After all, Bruce Prichard constantly reminds us that Vince McMahon loves competition and drama. So if Nikki and Brooke aren't happy, this will def force them to step their game up.  So only time will tell, but one thing is for certain business has picked up in the WWE women's division.

Wrestling For the Culture: January 29, 2018




The Dudley Boyz are Hall of Fame Bound













D-Von! Get the Tables! D-Von Dudley and his brother (kayfabe) Bubba Ray are going to the WWE Hall of Fame. The company announced that the nine time WWE Tag Team Champions would beinducted into the Hall of Fame class of 2018. The ceremony will take place Friday before WrestleMania 34.

Royal Rumble


Every year in the Royal Rumble, we look for what many people call the "Kofi Spot." This year we saw Kofi Kingston find a way to survive elimination after he was saved by his New Day brothers. Naomi also pulled off a creative way to survive elimination, however she was eliminated as soon as she was back in the ring.




NXT Takeover Philly



Ember Moon successfully defended her NXT Women's Championship against Shayna Baszler. Baszler came close to forcing Moon to submit, however Moon rolled over and pinned her to the mat for all of the three seconds that she needed.

Coach Comes Home


WWE announced that former backstage announcer, Jonathan Coachman is coming back to the company to do commentary for Monday Night Raw. Coach left the WWE to join ESPN in 2008 where he stayed until 2017. Coach will replace Booker T at the broadcast table. Of course we cannot wait until we see The Rock come back so we can see what type of jokes he has in store for him.




Rumorville



Word on the street is former ECW Champion, Bobby Lashley is on his way back to the WWE. Lashley lost his final match at Impact Wrestling to Moose. Call this the passing of the torch if you will. It will be interesting to see Lashley's return and what role he will play. Could we get Lashley vs Brock Lesnar?

Abel Andrew Jackson was presented with a brand new Reality of Wrestling Television Championship Belt by the legend himself, Stevie Ray.

If I'm Booking: 2018 Royal Rumble



Welcome to yet another new series, this one is titled If I'm Booking. Before each WWE Pay-Per-View I will make my predictions (Click here for my Royal Rumble Prediction) for the show and then I will reveal to you how I would book the show. On the Wrestling Wrealm, we do a series called Gimmie The Book where we rebook some of the storylines in pro wrestling that we hated. Check it out below.




2 out of 3 Falls for the WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship

The USOs (C) vs Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin




This match starts off very competitive but Gable and Benjamin start to gain momentum and when they go for the pin, they pin the wrong USO. The ref starts to count to three but notices the wrong legal man at the 2 1/2 mark. Benjamin looks confused and then gets hit with a superkick and goes down, 1-2-3. The next two falls would go to Gable and Benjamin as they are smartened up to the USO, and they leave Philadelphia the brand new WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions. 

Winner: Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin


WWE Raw Tag Team Championship 
Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins (C) vs The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) 

With this match, the booking is similar to how I am predicting how this will go. Both Jordan and Rollins are on the same page throughout the match, but as Rollins is starting to put away Sheamus with a curb stomp, Jordan blind tags him and sneaks in gets the pin after Rollins hit the finisher. He would go on to take credit for the win. Later on in the night, he goes up to Roman Reigns and lets him know, if he needs help winning the Royal Rumble, let him know. 

Winner: Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins


Handicap Match for the WWE Championship

AJ Styles (C) vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn



AJ Styles defense his WWE Championship against both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Now it is easy to see Owens and Zayn start fighting among themselves, but I wouldn't book it that way. Zayn and Owens would double team Styles throughout the match until Shane McMahon comes out and tries to get involved and then Daniel Bryan comes out and stops him. Owens would become distracted, giving Styles time to recover and take out Zayn on his own. As Owens gets back into the ring, Styles dominates and beats him. Styles then grabs the microphone and questions Bryan's loyalty. 

Winner: AJ Styles

Triple Threat Match for the WWE Universal Championship 
Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar (C) vs Kane

Brock Lesnar has been the WWE Universal Champion since WrestleMania. What are the chances he really loses the title at the Royal Rumble? After all, the WWE wants Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania right? Well, If I have the book, I am going in a different direction. Braun Strowman has been the monster among men, but he is a face and I wouldn't give him the title right now. Instead, I am going in a totally different direction and putting the Universal Title on Kane. He would pin Strowman, thus leaving Paul Heyman to argue that his client lost the title again without getting pinned. Lesnar would get the belt back at the Elimination Chamber. (You work for the WWE, you going in that chamber, Brock!)

Winner: Kane

1st-Ever Women's Royal Rumble 
Winner Gets a Women's Title Shot at WrestleMania 34


This is plain and simple, I am booking Nia Jax to win the 1st-ever Women's, Royal Rumble. A year ago, Jax was in the Raw Women's Title Match at WrestleMania and was the first one eliminated. She has shown her dominance, but after her interest in Enzo showed a softer side to her, this is the perfect opportunity for her to bounce back. We know Asuka is coming, but I would hold her out of the title picture until After WrestleMania. Nia Jax would turn face and beat Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania.

The odds-on favorite to win this year's Royal Rumble is the same guy who won it the last time it was in Philadelphia, Roman Reigns. Now, who did fans want to win? That's right, Daniel Bryan. Believe it or not, Bryan is healthier than he has been in a long time. So, if I'm booking, what do you I do? It comes down to the five men left. John Cena, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Elias, and Rusev. Then the clock starts counting down, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2,1...FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIES start playing and it's DANIEL BRYAN! As everyone is standing their shocked, Bryan comes out and the YES! chants start erupting. Then, Elias eliminates Cena, while Orton eliminates Rusev. The final three are Bryan, Orton, and Reigns. The three start going at it and Bryan eliminates Orton and it's down to Reigns and Bryan. The two go at it and Reigns gets the upper hand. Reigns then spears Bryan. Afterwards, he lifts him up toss him out, but Bryan reverses it and eliminates Reigns to win the 2018 Royal Rumble. And of course, the epic POINT, Daniel Bryan points to the WrestleMania 34 sign.

It's Time to Pick a Side


In 1996, The Ravens arrived in Baltimore, giving my city an NFL team. Like many other people in the city, I already had a team. My team was just coming off their third Super Bowl in four years. They had my favorite players, Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, Deion Sanders, and Emmit Smith. But now my city has a team. They also have a new set of stars. Ray Lewis, Michael Jackson, Jonathan Ogden, and Vinny Testaverde. What do I do? Well, I chose both. However, it is time to choose one.



Fast forward five years later, the Ravens were not one of, but the best team in the NFL while the Cowboys were getting older and getting old fast. The Ravens took me on a ride during their playoff debut. After every win, the hype grew around the city grew. 2000 was special. After the first four years of people looking at this team like, who are these guys, the Ravens belonged to Baltimore.  They would go on and win the Super Bowl. I still remember watching that game with my dad. I recorded it on my VHS and watched it over and over for years.



So as years went on, I found myself being disappointed not once, but twice in the same season. When the Cowboys were eliminated, it hurt. When the Ravens were eliminated, it hurt. 2007 may have hurt the most. This was the year that Dallas was really good and among the favorites from the NFC. While the Patriots were undefeated, the Cowboys were the best team in the NFC. But like the Cowboys, they cannot win in January. While they were 13-3 during the regular season, they lost in the divisional round of the playoffs.



Every year it the predictions was the same thing. The Dallas Cowboys are going to win the Super Bowl. And every year it was the same result, the Dallas Cowboys have been eliminated from playoff contention. Now the Ravens weren't any better, to be honest. It wasn't like they were winning the Super Bowl every year, but at least they won the Super Bowl in the ages where I could vividly remember.
















Then 2012 happened. Now during this season, I was blessed to be able to intern with the Baltimore Sun and cover the Ravens. That is an experience that can never be duplicated. The highs and lows, I was right there in the thick of it. I was producing videos from practice and press conferences. It was amazing. Then the playoffs came. I vividly remember the road to the New Orleans as if it was yesterday. And when Colin Kaepernick overthrew Michael Crabtree, a small tear came out of my eye. The Ravens were seconds away from being Super Bowl Champions.



After the Ravens won that Super Bowl, my rooting interest grew more with the Cowboys. After all, the last time they won the Super Bowl, the internet wasn't standard in everyone's homes. And what did the Cowboys do? Only have two seasons in three years where they were among the favorites to come out of the NFC and yet again disappoint.



During my time at ESPN my friends, Aaron, Jeff, Ryan, Satin, and Wes, in particular, would NEVER let up. Pick a team! And when I left, they took to Twitter, pick a team! I even asked Skip Bayless about having two teams and I guess because one was the Cowboys, he said he understood. However, after the 2017 NFL season, a season where both teams missed the playoffs (so you can't say I'm staying on the hot team), I have decided to stay with the home and choose the Baltimore Ravens.



Now, this does not mean. Of course, I will still root for the Cowboys, but they have officially become number two. No more heartache and disappointment when they are one and done in January. No more needing to see whose record is better before choosing when they face the Ravens. Nope, I am strictly Ravens Nation. Now hopefully the Flock gets it together so that they can get their third Lombardi trophy in 2018.

WWE Royal Rumble Predictions



It's that time of year again. Time for the Royal Rumble. I am going to attempt to make predictions for every WWE pay-per-view and keep track of my record. Will I have a perfect year, I doubt it, but hopefully I can have a perfect PPV one of these days.

2 out of 3 Falls for the WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship

The USOs (C) vs Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin


Gable and Benjamin have been on the heels of the USOs for weeks. They almost won the titles, but the referees made a mistake. There will not be a mistake at the Royal Rumble. I see Gable and Benjamin winning the tag titles. They have matching gear, that's not going to waste.

Winner: Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship 
Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins (C) vs The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) 



Someone, there is a guy on his computer saying if American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable) were going to split just to be in another tag team, what was the point. However, Jordan is in the best possible situation. He is currently a champion with Seth Rollins and playing the role of the teammate who likes to take credit for everything. With that being said, he will be the reason they retain the titles.

Winner: Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins

Handicap Match for the WWE Championship
AJ Styles (C) vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn



This match could go many ways. For one, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens could do a double-pin (See WWE Breakdown) and become the Co-WWE Champion, or this could lead to the two breaking up and facing each other at WrestleMania. Personally, I think it's too soon to break them up. They look like they are having too much fun. I do think AJ Styles will win, but he will get help from Shane McMahon. This will lead to Daniel Bryan getting upset and set up a match between those two at WrestleMania.

Winner: AJ Styles

Triple Threat Match for the WWE Universal Championship 
Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar (C) vs Kane



Perhaps the biggest challenge for the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. He will face not one, but two monsters. The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman and the Big Red Machine, Kane will challenge Lesnar for the title he has had since WrestleMania. I cannot see Lesnar losing the title yet. This will mimic SummerSlam, where he got tossed around but in the end, he came away with the win.

Winner: Brock Lesnar

1st-Ever Women's Royal Rumble 
Winner Gets a Women's Title Shot at WrestleMania 34


History will be made in Philadelphia. We have seen a lot of Royal Rumble matches, but now it is time to see an all-women rumble. Choosing this seems tough, but then again it doesn't. The first winner will go down in the history books. Now before I make predictions, let's go back to Money in the Bank. Carmella won, but the moment was ruined because she didn't grab the briefcase herself. They redid the match and she got it again. I do not see this happening again, but I do believe the winner will be someone we remember. it will be a future Hall of Famer. My prediction on the record to win the first Women's Royal Rumble is Asuka.

Winner Gets a World Title Shot at WrestleMania 34


The last time the WWE held the Royal Rumble in Philadelphia, fans were NOT happy with the winner. There were a plethora of boos. Twitter blew up in a bad way. Not even The Rock could make the fans happy. Who won? Roman Reigns. Fast forward three years later. They are back in Philadelphia. Reigns just lost the Intercontinental Championship and he has not held a World Title since Father's Day (Money In The Bank) 2016. It seems like it's time for him to get his belt back. So, on the record, I am going with Roman Reigns to win the Royal Rumble. Stay classy Philly, you don't want to highjack the Rumble, and then it comes back to bite you when Stephanie McMahon's Patriots beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl.

More thoughts and wishes: If I could choose a winner, it would be Shinsuke Nakamura and he would go on to WrestleMania and defeat AJ Styles for the WWE Championship.

The Fall of Enzo Amore


During his time in NXT, he was one of the most over characters on the brand. When he and his partner at the time were promoted to the Monday Night Raw, they received a huge pop. That alone lets you know the impact they had in NXT. After failing to capture the tag team titles, Enzo Amore and Big Cass would go their separate ways. If you have been watching the WWE as long as I have, you knew one of the was in trouble, and it wasn’t the guy who was seven feet tall. While Enzo did find success, his out of the ring antics would eventually cost him his WWE career.




Enzo Amore, who held the WWE Cruiserweight Title for the second time, was accused of sexual assault and suspended on Monday. If missing the 25th Anniversary of the longest weekly episodic television show was bad enough, WWE decided to release him the next day. This left some fans in an uproar. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? How do we know she is not lying?



The WWE made the right call here. Here is what we do know, there are actual screenshots and notes of what the victim claims transpired that night. What we don’t know at the present time is what evidence the WWE has in their possession. 




The WWE recently suspended. Rich Swann after he was arrested and charged with domestic battery and false imprisonment. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H made it clear that if he is convicted, he would be terminated immediately. Fans tend to forget that the WWE is a publicly traded company that has one of the strongest women in the world on their corporation. They are not about to have a guy who they feel is a danger to their women wrestlers on the roster. 




There are too many sexual assault cases. I have said this over and over again, there were way too many #MeToo hashtags on all of my social media timelines. The WWE releasing Enzo tells me they know something. Remember when the New England Patriots released Aaron Hernandez after meeting with him? That told the world they knew something was not right with his story. 


When every tag team breaks up, the first thing old-school fans think is, who is the Marty Jannetty of the team? It was almost a given that it was Enzo. While Cass isn’t the greatest, he is seven feet tall for goodness sakes. He better come back repackaged. But that's a different story for a different day. While Enzo did win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, 205 Live still has not been must-see television. The first week he was there, maybe, but afterward not so much. He did main event Raw twice during the fall, but that’s old news. Fans can choose to stand with Enzo, that’s their choice, but I don’t. However, I would not be surprised to see him on an Independent Show, even if he is convicted.

Wrestling For The Culture: January 21, 2018

Titus Worldwide











Titus Worldwide, Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews, got their second straight victory on Monday Night Raw when Jason Jordan distracted their opponents, The Bar, Sheamus and Cesaro.


When this tag team was first assembled, no one really had high hopes. After all, Apollo Crews has not done much since arriving to the main roster after a couple of years. What do you remember from his run? At least O’Neil has charisma. But these two seem to have some momentum since Dana Brooke joined the team. Check out my previous post where I go into more details about her impact on Titus Worldwide.


Ember Moon’s Next Challenger













Ember Moon is set to defend her NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover Philly against the Queen of Spade Shayna Baszler. 

This match I will be intense, but we saw Kairi Sane defeat Baszler in the finals of the Mae Young Classic, so it will not be the first time we see her fall, should she lose to Moon in her Takeover Debut. My prediction, Ember Moon remains the NXT Women's Champion. 


WWE Gets a Crown Jewel











Ricochet has finally arrived. One of the most talented guys in professional wrestling has arrived at the WWE Performance Center. Ricochet has been known for his high flying moves. If you want to see him in action, check out the match posted below. He will reportedly begin his career on NXT.


It will be interesting to see how much of his move set he will be allowed to keep in WWE.

Will Sable Be The First Woman to Headline the WWE Hall of Fame?




All the women wanted to be her and the men came to see her. Sable was the one WWE Superstar, men, and women, who got pops from the audience that matched Stone Cold Steve Austin during the Attitude Era. It is no a manner of it but a manner of when she will get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. But I believe she should be the first women’s wrestler to headline it.




After years of inequality in all industries, women are starting to get more respect. They deserve it. In the wrestling world, they are starting to get more opportunities. We have the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match coming up. Last summer we saw the first ever Women’s Money in the Bank match. We also saw a women’s Hell in a Cell match main event a pay per view. Women main eventing Monday Night Raw is becoming normal. So now the question is, when will a woman headline WWE Hall of Fame? And who should be the first? My vote goes to Sable. 




Sable began her WWE career as a Hunter Hearst Helmsley’s valet. She would then move on to become her then-husband Marc Mero’s valet which would lead to her wrestling career. Sable and her arch nemesis Jacqueline’s feud led to the return of the WWE women’s championship, which had been vacated and inactive after Alundra Blayze defected to WCW in 1995. She was not known as the best women’s wrestler but when her matches came on, the audience tuned in. 




Sable’s stunning looks led to her becoming the first-ever WWE Diva to appear in Playboy Magazine in 1999. It was said that it was the highest selling issue at its time. Do wrestling fans help your numbers or what! She was a household name and on posters everywhere. So why not?



Of course, you can make the argument that Sunny transcended the business for the sexy ladies to be apart of it. But Sable took it to another level. Besides Sunny is already in. While we know that her wrestling is not on the level of the women’s wrestlers of today, nor did she go on to have a decorated career like Trish Stratus it Lita, she was a huge reason for WWE ultimately defeating WCW in the rating war. Like Sunny, Trish and Lita are already in the Hall of Fame. So unless you want to wait another 10 years for Charlotte Flair, then this era is the time to have a woman headline it. 


Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, Mick Foley, and Sable are names that you cannot omit when discussing the Attitude Era. Obviously, there are more, but you truly cannot omit these. Each one of these names was important parts of the company during the thick of the war. While things moved on, don’t act like there was not a void in June 1999 when Sable left. If she never returned after her lawsuit against the WWE, I may not have this argument, but considering she would return and play a huge role into the development of Torrey Wilson and the Vince-Stephanie McMahon feud, I think it’s safe to say things are fine with all parties. I am hoping to see her at the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw, but I really hope we see Sable headline a class of the WWE Hall of Fame.

Titus WorldWide, Dana Brooke, Titus O'Neil, and Apollo Crews, is the Perfect Marriage




In the world of pro wrestling, sometimes you have too much talent. So what happens? They can become jobbers or they can become a part of a makeshift tag team. This is what happened with the Titus Worldwide. What you have is the team of Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews and they are managed by Dana Brooke. This was the right move on many levels.



Dana Brooke first becomes noticed on the main roster when she was paired with Charlotte Flair. She was to Charlotte what Arn Anderson was to Ric Flair. After the constant abuse, she would leave Charlotte. Afterwards, she was left in limbo. She would make attempts to get noticed, but the women's division is stacked and unfortunately, they are often limited to two stories at the most. Brooke's good looks were not enough, fans needed more. But then Titus Worldwide reached out.




O'Neil and Crews, both who have been struggling to win matches, reached out to Brooke after a loss to Asuka and told her they could help her. She would joke with them for losing to Samoa Joe and let them know that they should have studied more. This would lead to the parties coming together and more importantly, wins!















When O'Neil and Crews became a tag team, it seemed like a joke. We saw O'Neil stress the importance of a Titus Brand. He would then Akira Tozawa to the brand. But it just was not working, nor did anyone care. But now you add a beautiful woman and that changes things. Think about when the Smoking Gunns got stale and tried a heel turn, did you really care? No, but because Sunny was with them, suddenly things were much better. While Brooke is a better wrestler than Sunny, the women's division is too stacked right now, so adding her to Titus Worldwide gives her television time, and now that she is apart of them and they are winning, eventually we may be able to see them in the tag title picture.




What does this do for Brooke? Well since she is proving that she is the brains behind the operation, she will apply the notes that she is taking for O'Neil and Crews to her matches. So while this may look like a step back, it's actually a set up for a bigger step forward. Can you imagine if Titus Worldwide holds the Tag Team Titles and the Raw Women's Championship Simultaneously? It may sound far-fetched right now, but just give it six months.

I Like Goldberg, But It Took Me 18 Years












In 1998, he came and shook things up in WCW. For the longest time, he did not speak. He simply came in the ring, dominated his opponent and finished them off with a spear and a jackhammer. He would always have one question after the win, Who's Next? He would eventually rise up to become the biggest star in WCW. Who was this man? Goldberg. But I was not a fan... until now.



While the world loved Goldberg, I was not a fan. To me, it was the same ol, same ol. Music hits, he enters the ring, wrestles for a while, spear his opponent, then finished with a jackhammer. Now I will admit, I was a WWE guy first and foremost. So during the height of the Monday Night Wars, Raw was my priority. On the weekend, I cared more about Shotgun Saturday Night than WCW Saturday Night. As time moved on, I just was not the biggest Goldberg fan. So when Starrcade 1998 happened, I rooted for Kevin Nash. To me, any rendition of the NWO was just TOO SWEET.



Fast forward to 2003, Goldberg would join WWE. His first PPV match was with The Rock. Of course, I was rooting for The Rock. So what he was Hollywood now. It was not until SummerSlam did I really root for Goldberg and that was because I was tired of Triple H being the World Heavyweight Champion. Looking back at it, his whole title run was meh. The next memorable thing he would do would be WrestleMania 20. 



WrestleMania 20, we can call it memorable, or we can call it a nightmare. Goldberg faced Brock Lesnar in a one on one match, a feud that began at the Royal Rumble. Whenever a feud begins in January, you look for an ultimate payoff come March or April. I still remember the promos and hearing Jim Ross say something along the lines of needing the military to prevent these two from killing each other. When Goldberg made his return in 2016, I may have been the least excited. Then at Survivor Series, we got the rematch from WrestleMania 20. Although it was a squash match, it was better than WrestleMania. Goldberg would go on to win the Universal Title and hold it a couple of months before dropping the belt to Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 in a classic. At this time, I admitted, I like this guy.



The WWE announced Goldberg as their first inductee into the 2018 Hall of Fame. An honor well deserved. Without a doubt, he was going in, but it was really cool to see him return to the WWE in 2015 and right his wrong. During his earlier days in the business, he was known to treat it like a 9-5. Long as he was getting paid, nothing else mattered. But this time, he came a different man. He was more mature. He was a husband. He was a father. Goldberg said it was his duty to come and be someone the kids could look up to. He was a superhero. Truth be told, if it was not for the WWE Network, many kids may not know who he was. But when he returned, he was perfect for that demographic. I did not like him when I was 12 years old like many others did, but at 31, I can appreciate him and look back at his work and enjoy it knowing he would return a better ambassador for the pro wrestling business.
