Don't Worry Georgia, You Still Have AJ Styles

You cheer hard all season, for one thing, a championship. Your team makes it to the final game, execute their gameplan, next thing you know, they are one quarter away from the ultimate goal. You start celebrating, you start thinking about which gear you are going to buy, you even start thinking about how you are going to call out so you can attend the parade. Suddenly, your opponent is coming back and before you know, you are laying on the floor clutching your pillow as you watch the opposing team and their fans celebrate. What just happened?

Not only did this happen to the state of Georgia once, it happened twice! That hurts. In Super Bowl 51, the Atlanta Falcons held a 28-3 lead late in the 3rd quarter over the New England Patriots. What happened? They blew it!!! If that did not hurt, 11 months later, the Georgia Bulldogs did the same thing. They held a 20-7 lead over the Alabama Crimson Tide late in the 3rd quarter. What happened? They blew it!!! Twice in the same state, is there a curse?

Whether or not there is a curse, the state of Georgia do have someone they can rely on. That man is the Phenomenal AJ Styles. For the past two years, he has been the hottest names in wrestling. And guess what, he resides from Gainesville, Georgia. Now everyone likes to say wrestling is fake, the champions are real. After all, you are representing the company. No team from Georgia has represented their league in the major four sports since the Atlanta Braves in 1995. But AJ Styles is a champion they can be proud of, a champion they can call their own.

Remember when Cleveland did not have a major sports team win a title until the King, LeBron James saved the day? Guess who was their champion, the most must-see WWE Champion, The Miz. Miz held it down as the champion to represent Cleveland until 2016 when LeBron and the Cavaliers finally brought home the Larry O'Brien trophy. Look at the bright side Georgia, Matt Ryan and the Falcons are still alive. Will this be the year they right their wrong? Who knows, but until then, you have AJ Styles.
