Wrestling For The Culture: March 4th

Black history month may be over, but not Wrestling For The Culture. The road to WrestleMania heats up and wrestlers of color are ready!

The New Day and Usos Renew Their Rivalry

On Smackdown, The Usos reminded WWE, cause Twitter already knew, that they have yet to be featured on the main card of WrestleMania. Even last year when they were WWE Smackdown Live tag team champions, they still did not get a match at all. This year they seemed more determined than ever. But they would soon be joined by a team they knew very well.

The New Day, led by Big E responded with a promo equally as passionate. They reminded The Usos that they took an opportunity and that is how they were featured as hosts of last year's WrestleMania. Now let's go back to Big E's debut in 2013. He was someone many felt could be WWE champion one day. After all, he was a former NXT champion. So tweet me your answer @BrianHWaters, has Big E won you over as a future for the WWE Championship?

Cedric Advances

In the second round of the Cruiserweight Championship tournament, Cedric Alexander defeated former Cruiserweight champion, TJP. He will face Roderick Strong in the semi-finals. Now is the time to pull the trigger. Last year, Alexander was set to face Enzo A'more for the title at this year's Royal Rumble, but A'more was suspended and later released and the belt was vacated. This is his tournament to win. In the Cruiserweight Classic, Alexander won over the hearts of the fans and received validation from Triple H. For a guy who was so hot that it only made sense for him to dethrone the champ to get this far in the tournament and not win would be a miscarriage of justice. GIVE CEDRIC THE BALL!

Sasha and Bayley Continue to Tear Apart

Tensions continue to rise between Sasha Banks and Bayley. This past Monday, Banks went to tag Bayley when Bayley jumped off the apron refusing to tag in. Things would continue on a house show when they were both in a 6-man tag match with Asuka. Banks was booed when she denied the crown some Bayley, while Bayley would tag herself in. When it was all said and done, they were on the winning side, but they did not celebrate together. This is getting good and could be a show stealer come WrestleMania. I'm almost expecting the match to be made this Monday on Raw.

Soar Wrestling

Prince Simms not only won a tag match but also became the new Soar Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Championship.  Simms was the companies first every heavyweight champion and after losing the title, in his own words, he scratched and clawed his way back to gold.

Soar Wrestling also crown new tag team champions. Congratulations to the DT Mob (Prime Time Dontae Smiley and Ty Wilson).
